the air conditioning worked well, which was crucial, considering I’m from a place that isn’t exactly tropical. the staff were friendly, and I enjoyed a clean room. there was construction noise and the shower had no hot water. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown—a sandwich doesn’t fill a marine biologist after a swim. Bring your own blanket if you don’t like sleeping stiff.
